Established in 1986 by Peter Gilman, when he co-founded GMI Construction PLC, GMI Property is part of the GMI Holdings Group which also includes GMI Investments, GMI Developments and Lewcombe Homes.

Driven by the hugely experienced and successful management team of Peter Gilman and Chris Gilman, GMI Property forms the primary development vehicle for the group. From its Yorkshire base, the Company operates throughout the North of England, Yorkshire and the Midlands. It develops a broad spectrum of commercial property including offices, retail, leisure, industrial and distribution.  It also engages in the development of mixed use projects, partnering key residential developers where appropriate.

GMI Property is particularly practised in bringing forward complex regeneration projects, in partnership with both public and private sector organisations.  Its skillful identification of development opportunities, creative thinking and ability to direct schemes through the challenges of the planning system, sets it apart.
